    public-log

The Water Resources Department (WRD) of Arunachal Pradesh is the state’s nodal organisation for irrigation, flood control, and water conservation. Initially part of the Rural Works Department (RWD), it was bifurcated to form the Irrigation and Flood Control Department (IFCD). Recognizing the need for integrated water resource management, IFCD was renamed as WRD in 2004. WRD is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining irrigation infrastructure, managing flood risks, and promoting sustainable water use.
