Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) is the Capital Development Authority of Bangladesh, responsible for coordinating urban development in Dhaka, the largest and most populous city in the country. Established as the Dhaka Improvement Trust (DIT), it was renamed RAJUK in 1987. RAJUK’s primary functions include preparing and implementing master plans, regulating land use, and overseeing building construction and development activities. It also undertakes various projects to improve urban infrastructure, housing, and transportation. RAJUK aims to create a planned, livable, and sustainable city for the residents of Dhaka.
