Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India is one of the early ministries set up after India’s independence. It is responsible for formulating and administering rules, regulations, and laws in the areas of information, broadcasting, the press, and cinema. It disseminates information about government policies, schemes, and programs through various mediums of mass communication. It is functionally organized into three wings - Information Wing, Broadcasting Wing, and Films Wing.
