MESCOM is a state-owned electricity distribution company serving four districts in Karnataka: Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shivamogga, and Chikkamagaluru. It was incorporated as part of Karnataka’s power sector reforms, following the unbundling of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).
