    Cochin Port Authority (CoPA), formerly known as Cochin Port Trust, is a major port on the Arabian Sea. It is one of India’s 12 major ports and serves as a key maritime gateway for trade with the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The port handles diverse cargo including containers, petroleum products, and bulk commodities, and houses India’s first International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) at Vallarpadam.
