Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA)
The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) is responsible for coordinating disaster management activities in the state. It was established to plan, execute, and monitor disaster management strategies to minimize the impact of disasters and enhance the state's resilience. This Authority was notified in the year 2007 with the adoption of the Disaster Management Act in the year 2006, then became fully functional in the year 2010.
