Maptionnaire

Maptionnaire originated from a group of urban planners who recognized the growing need for city planners to involve the public and gather genuine input from locals. To address this challenge, Mapita Oy was established in Helsinki in 2011, providing a platform for individuals to create their own map-based surveys. Maptionnaire serves as a user-friendly solution for community interaction, enabling municipal planners to easily collect local information and make GIS-supported decisions. Built on map-based survey tools, Maptionnaire facilitates data gathering, analysis, and collaboration for local governments and planners, supporting internal and external collaboration, reporting, and communication on community engagement and participatory budgeting initiatives.
