Revenue Department, Madhya Pradesh

The Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, is responsible for land administration, land records management, dispute resolution, and implementation of the Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code, 1959. It supervises tehsils, land reforms, mutation, demarcation, partition, property rights, and relief distribution during natural calamities. The department also oversees the Board of Revenue, the state’s highest appellate authority for revenue matters.
