Odisha Space Applications Centre (ORSAC) is the apex remote sensing and geospatial technology organization for the Government of Odisha. It develops and deploys satellite-based GIS, GNSS, and remote sensing solutions for state departments, supporting natural resource management, disaster response, urban planning, agriculture, mining, water resources, and e-governance. ORSAC acts as Odisha’s nodal agency for space applications, overseeing large-scale aerial and satellite survey projects, research, capacity building, and the rollout of digital mapping initiatives across sectors. The Centre collaborates with ISRO, national research bodies, and global agencies to advance geospatial innovation in Odisha.
