The Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) is an authority that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to acquire, manage and benefit from land and sea Country. Its role is to generate enduring economic, social, environmental and cultural outcomes for current and future generations. The ILSC works nationally in partnership with Indigenous organisations and Traditional Owners, delivering land and sea acquisition projects, land management support, and enterprise development. It also oversees a group of Indigenous‑owned businesses and ventures, including Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, National Indigenous Pastoral Enterprises (NIPE) and the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, which provide employment, training and commercial opportunities linked to Country.
