Department of Minerals and Petroleum, Mongolia, also called as Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM), is responsible for the regulation and management of Mongolia's mineral and petroleum resources. It oversees the issuance of exploration and mining licenses, monitors compliance with mining laws, and promotes sustainable development in the sector. MRPAM also provides geological information and supports the implementation of national policies related to mineral resources and petroleum.
