It develops and administers policies, programs, and regulatory frameworks across emissions reduction, energy markets and renewables, environmental protection, national parks and heritage, water management, and climate science and reporting. DCCEEW also supports a portfolio of agencies and statutory bodies delivering these functions nationwide.
