The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is India's premier military research agency. Its core objective is to achieve self-reliance in defense technologies by designing, developing, and producing state-of-the-art weapon systems and equipment for the Indian Armed Forces. It is responsible for the development of technology for military applications, design, develop, and lead the implementation of indigenous defense systems, weapons, and equipment.
