The Higher Audiovisual Council is the independent administrative authority in charge of regulating the audiovisual media sector in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It is an advisory body integrated into the administration of the French Community, responsible for regulating service providers ( RTBF, local television stations, private television and radio stations, on-demand and internet services, web TV, web radios, multi-platform application services, etc.), service distributors (cable distributors: Proximus, VOO, Telenet,…; via digital terrestrial radio waves, via satellite) and network operators.
