AirNav Ireland is the national air navigation service provider (ANSP) for Ireland, officially established following the separation of regulatory and service functions from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA). It is a commercial semi-state company responsible for air traffic management, aeronautical communications, and related services across 451,000 km² of Irish-controlled airspace. It employs around 600 staff across six locations, including Dublin, Shannon, and Cork. The company is self-financing, generating revenue through service charges to airlines, and receives no state funding.
