    Project Details

Highway 169 (TH 169) is a vital corridor spanning nearly 360 miles through Minnesota, including Minneapolis. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) aims to convert a three-mile segment into a freeway system to enhance infrastructure and improve vehicle and pedestrian movement. The TH 169 Redefine Elk River Project involves transforming four traffic intersections into interchanges, adjusting the TH 169/TH 10 interchange, upgrading underground infrastructure and utilities, and adding pedestrian walkways to local roadways. The goal is to transform 2.8 miles of TH 169 into an expanded freeway with improved interchanges, bridges, and underground utilities. The project also aims to deliver a paperless design to MnDOT.
