In 2014, the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore launched Virtual Singapore, a dynamic 3D city model and collaborative data platform featuring 3D maps of Singapore. Once completed, Virtual Singapore will emerge as the leading 3D digital platform accessible to the public, business, and academic sectors. Users will have the capability to develop advanced tools and applications for planning and decision-making, testing ideas and services, and conducting technological research to address complex and emerging issues in Singapore.
