The Visigothic Basilica of Santa Lucia del Trampal, a 7th-century architectural gem in Alcuescar, Spain, underwent a detailed Scan using Stonex’s cutting-edge videogrammetric technology. This basilica is the only well-preserved Visigothic structure in southern Iberia, making its digital preservation both culturally and historically significant. The videogrammetric scan was validated against a traditional terrestrial laser scan performed from 16 positions with precision-enhancing spheres. Comparative analysis demonstrated minimal deviations: an average of 4 mm outside and 10 mm inside. This project highlighted the efficiency, portability, and user-friendly design of the Stonex XVS system, which delivered exceptional texture quality and ease of operation.
