Built in 1897, a historic cathedral in Philadelphia required extensive restoration work on its roof and cupolas. TruePoint 3D Laser Scanning was contracted to capture detailed scans of the cathedral's interior, exterior façade, roof, and cupolas. The objective was to create a precise 3D AutoCAD model and 2D AutoCAD drawings to assist with the renovation planning. These detailed models and drawings would ensure that the restoration adhered to historically accurate standards and addressed the structural disrepair effectively.
