GLOBAL OMNIUM/Aguas de Valencia has successfully deployed automated meter readings in over 60% of their one million water meters fleet. However, they are continuously striving to enhance this service to improve efficiency and provide additional benefits to customers. Currently, water meters are read only once per hour across the region, necessitating the use of specific technologies from various manufacturers. This results in the installation and maintenance of multiple communication infrastructures across the entire region. The objective is to implement a more efficient system for water meter readings by adopting a standardized communication platform. This initiative aims to facilitate the expansion of their innovative solution in a seamless and scalable manner.
