A leading manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products across the United States, was planning to upgrade their mechanical room. To assist with the design modifications, they required accurate as-built documentation and an LOD 300 3D model. The target objects for data acquisition included exposed structural steel, beams, joists, columns, piping (2” and larger), mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment, valves and flanges, decks, platforms, stairs, grades, walls, windows, and doors.
