Asset Survey Solutions was seeking assistance for a project involving a residential road and service pipeline spanning 3 km in a linear corridor. The project required the production of a complete as-is condition survey from boundary to boundary, which would serve as the reference state for a dilapidation survey. Originally, Asset Survey Solutions intended to finish this application using a GPS and a total station. Instead, by utilizing the NavVis VLX, the application was finished more quickly and with less time spent on the road, which reduced the overall cost and traffic management expenses.
