    The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted major ports like Shanghai and Los Angeles, leading to increased dwell times and supply chain disruptions. To address these challenges, continuous monitoring of shipping containers and understanding onshore and offshore factors is essential. Harnessing advanced machine learning techniques and utilizing cutting-edge Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data, Synspective conducted a comprehensive analysis of ship movements in Tokyo Bay, Japan. This innovative approach facilitated continuous monitoring of the bustling waters, enabling tracking of ships entering and exiting the port, assessment of congestion levels, and detection of suspicious activities such as poaching and illegal trade.
