    Project Details

In June 2012, heavy rainfall triggered extensive slope failures along Minnesota Highway 210, disrupting access and compromising public safety. MnDOT employed a design-build approach, appointing Veit & Company, Barr Engineering Co., and SRF Consulting Group to stabilize 74 landslide sites spanning 3.5 miles. Barr Engineering Co. conducted geotechnical investigations, analyzing over 120 soil borings to inform permanent and interim repair strategies aimed at minimizing future risks while preserving the natural environment.
