A USD 6 billion plant was constructed in China's Leting Economic Development Zone in Tangshan, aiming to become an advanced, green, and intelligent modern factory. With an annual output exceeding seven million tons of iron and steel, the project emphasized intelligent manufacturing and the application of green technologies to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, contributing to clear water and blue skies for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation was responsible for designing, procuring, and constructing all equipment and processing facilities, covering a vast area of 534 hectares, including 42 plants and a 26-kilometer roadway.
