The project, in collaboration with the Madrid Regional Transport Consortium, marks a pioneering effort to unify the entire cartography of Madrid's transport network at an unprecedented scale of detail. For the first time, the city’s transport network, including buses, metro, and Cercanías train systems, has been integrated into a cohesive map system. This initiative involved the creation of eleven detailed maps that group various districts of Madrid, providing information about bus routes, metro and train station access, and facilities such as lift. Utilizing advanced GIS and cartographic production techniques, these maps are accessible in both digital and printed formats, ensuring a seamless experience for commuters and city planners. The online version is continuously updated, incorporating Open Data from public sources to ensure real-time accuracy and reliability.
