    Project Details

    This project showcases the transformative potential of UAV-LiDAR technology in modern ground surveying. Aimed at obtaining accurate ground topography data over a challenging survey area of 45,000 m², the YellowScan Vx20-300 LiDAR sensor was mounted on the IF1200A UAV. The mission involved collecting data for applications like urban planning, hydrological modeling, and landscape assessment. The UAV flew at a velocity of 5 m/s and a height of 85 m, completing each flight in just 10 minutes.

    The collected data underwent a streamlined processing workflow that included trajectory refinement, point cloud generation, strip adjustment, and ground classification. The mission achieved rapid and accurate data acquisition, enabling the creation of high-resolution DTMs, DSMs, and DHMs, with results applicable across various industries.
