    Project Details

Commenced in 2014, the project revolves around bettering the condition of rivers in the 2S basin- Sesan and Srepok, shared between Cambodia and Vietnam. Hydropower plants on these rivers have substantially altered the hydrological regime of the tributaries in these two basins. DHI in the project assists in the implementation of a real-time flood forecasting system, reservoir operations, and water resource planning, all of which are centralised. This facilitates effective communication and cooperation on water resources management between the countries.
