    Project Details

    The Odisha Forestry Sector Development Society (OFSDS) employs geospatial technology and an effective Information Management System to engage forest fringe communities in decentralized planning and implementation within the forestry sector. The organization focuses on themes like Sustainable Forest Management through Community Participation and Livelihood development through Inter-sectoral Convergence. Phase II of the Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project is currently in progress, facilitated by financial support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), spanning 12 territorial forest divisions and 2 wildlife divisions within Odisha.
