Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) recognized the critical importance of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology in its operations, including asset management, planning, and safety processes. However, concerns arose regarding the accuracy and completeness of GIS data, prompting the need for a comprehensive data governance process. The project aimed to establish a robust framework for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of GIS data updates.
