FURAY and VEIKI-VNL collaborated to transition from a week-long manual inspection process to a single morning automated inspection using PIX4Dinspect. The project, initially a test project, took place at the VEIKI-VNL Kft. industrial site in Budapest, Hungary, one of the largest in Europe. It involved scanning and inspecting three different objects: an INDELVE transformer, pylons, and voltage controllers. The goal was to leverage drone scanning and PIX4Dinspect software to conduct efficient and precise inspections while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.
