Mortenson, a Minneapolis-based construction company with extensive experience in construction, solar energy, and infrastructure, embarked on a data center project in Eagle Mountain, USA, in May 2018. The project involves constructing three buildings, each approximately 1 million square feet upon completion. Managing such a large-scale project presents various challenges, including logistical complexities due to the vast site area, different construction stages of the buildings, underground utility detection, and the need for up-to-date progress tracking data. Despite these challenges, Mortenson aims to overcome them by leveraging advanced tools for efficient project management.
