    Project Details

    STM BALT SAFE was a project launched in January 2019 with the goal of significantly improving safety of navigation in the Baltic Sea, a region known for high shipping intensities and the potential for shipping accidents with severe environmental consequences. The project aimed to enhance safety through the implementation of Sea Traffic Management (STM) enabled maritime services, fostering better communication and situational awareness among ships and between ships and shore authorities. The project also sought to optimize capacity utilization and enable just-in-time operations.
