    Project Details

The Noor Abu Dhabi solar park, spanning 8 square kilometers and featuring over 3.2 million solar panels, stands as the largest single-site solar power plant globally. Falcon Eye Drones (FEDS), partnered with Pix4D, undertook the task of monthly progress monitoring during the plant's construction using high-resolution drone mapping. Sterling Wilson, a prominent engineering and procurement firm, commissioned FEDS to ensure efficient and accurate monitoring of the vast site. By capturing 105,000 images and creating 17 orthomosaic maps with a remarkable 5 cm accuracy, FEDS facilitated comprehensive tracking of site progress and material inventories.
