The Chengdu-Yibin Expressway Smart Highway Initiative, located in Sichuan province, China, aims to establish a safe, convenient, green, and modern main traffic artery. With a budget of USD 3.4 billion, the project encompasses the construction of a 155-kilometer smart road, featuring 154 bridges totaling 39.7 kilometers and four tunnels spanning 7.3 kilometers. Additionally, it includes 17 interchanges and five service areas along the route, presenting numerous controlled elements and site constraints while passing through scenic, protected spots.
