    Project Details

    Shanghai faces severe flooding due to its geographical location and global climate change. To mitigate this, the city initiated the South Extension Renovation Project of the Zhangjing River, including a pump station, sluice gate, and infrastructure enhancements. Shanghai Water Engineering Design and Research Institute undertook this USD 300 million project, navigating complex challenges such as existing structures and interdisciplinary collaboration.
