In Wuhan, China, where 166 lakes cover a significant portion of the city, the Wuhan Environmental Protection Bureau (WHEPB) faced challenges in manually monitoring water quality. To address this, they adopted Oceanalpha's ESM30 Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) technology. This autonomous solution, equipped with advanced geospatial navigation and multi-parameter sonar, revolutionized water quality monitoring. It enabled precise data collection across 50 lakes in just 14 days, a 640% improvement in efficiency compared to traditional methods.
