The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) in collaboration with Stantec undertook an initiative in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to accelerate the adoption of recycled water. The project aimed to develop informed federal policies and responsive regulations for wastewater management. Leveraging advanced geospatial technologies, the project focused on optimizing water reuse, enhancing environmental sustainability, and fostering stakeholder engagement. Through policy frameworks, meticulous data monitoring, and strategic spatial analysis, the project aimed to transform wastewater into a valuable resource, positioning the UAE as a global leader in sustainable development.
