    Project Details

Vetorgeo, in partnership with Bayer, deployed a cutting-edge remote detection system to enhance soybean toxin management across 80,000 hectares. The project integrated PIX4Dfields with Agrowing’s high-precision multispectral sensors to create accurate vegetation maps, enabling variable-rate application (VRA) of insecticides.

The technology offered rapid, high-resolution analysis of infestation levels, optimizing insecticide application timing and dosage. Over the four-month soybean harvest, Vetorgeo conducted field monitoring every 30 days, producing actionable insights through prescription maps. These maps, generated in PIX4Dfields, were directly uploaded to machinery terminals, streamlining operations. The project resulted in a remarkable 95% acceptance rate for soybean seeds during quality control, showcasing the effectiveness of timely and data-driven toxin management.
