HMS Industrial Networks partnered with u-blox to develop a wireless solution named Anybus Wireless Bolt, facilitating access to machines and cabinets via WLAN/Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth low energy (BLE). This solution aimed to enable machine configuration through standard tablets or smartphones and connectivity to cloud services for Industrial IoT applications. The Anybus Wireless Bolt, introduced in fall 2016, garnered recognition as the "Best Network Technology 2016".
