    Project Details

TruePoint 3D Laser Scanning was enlisted to capture as-built site data and generate a 3D colorized point cloud of the Auto Club Speedway in Los Angeles. The scope included scanning the grandstands, main concourse, and substructure elements beneath the track, covering an expansive area of 130 acres. With a grandstand capacity of 68,000 and 28 sky boxes, the Speedway required accurate documentation to support upcoming construction projects, particularly the upgrade of the upper suite area.
