Cincinnati Music Hall, a cherished cultural landmark, underwent extensive renovations to restore its historical grandeur. However, the restoration project initially omitted the restoration of exterior architectural details, including decorative sandstone finials and metal cresting, due to incomplete architectural drawings. To address this challenge, the Society for the Preservation of Music Hall (SPMH) sought assistance from FARO® to accurately capture and digitize the building's exterior details using advanced laser scanning technology. The precise measurements obtained through the FARO FocusS 350 Laser Scanner enabled the creation of comprehensive as-built documentation, facilitating the restoration of missing architectural elements and preserving the hall's original charm.
