The Bradley Plaza Green Alley project in Pacoima, Los Angeles, embodies sustainable urban renewal, led by a collaboration between the City of Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment, Pacoima Beautiful, and The Trust for Public Land. This initiative aims to revitalize an underutilized alleyway, utilizing geospatial technologies and community engagement to create a green, inclusive space. By implementing innovative stormwater management systems, green infrastructure, and culturally sensitive design, the project addresses urban challenges such as the heat island effect while promoting social cohesion and empowerment.
