    Project Details

To address the repair needs of the SR-513 bridge over I-70, ODOT District 5 aimed to increase the vertical clearance above the interstate to 16.5 feet. The existing bridge was characterized by a doglegged steel beam structure with a skewed superstructure, supported by piles and stub abutments, as well as cap and column piers. Notably, the bridge exhibited both horizontal and vertical curvature.
