    Project Details

A Danish Archeologist aimed at uncovering the route and construction methods of a historic Viking road in Denmark. In the lush landscapes of Denmark, where peaty soil conceals ancient pathways, traditional archaeological methods fell short. Traditional methods failed due to the lack of surface expression, prompting the use of GPR technology. By employing GPR surveys with high-frequency antennas, researchers successfully mapped the buried structures, including marker stones, along the road's path. This innovative approach provided precise insights into Viking heritage and demonstrated the efficacy of geospatial technology in archaeology, revolutionizing exploration techniques for hidden historical features.
