    The town was far from civilization and had poor cell phone reception, so emergency services didn't know about the serious flood happening there. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) got a call from someone in trouble, saying their house was flooded and they needed help. FloodMapp NowCast provided real-time, detailed flood information to help emergency services make decisions quickly.
