TruePoint was tasked with performing a 3D laser scan of the third floor of a hospital in Lexington, KY, currently in a shell state and ready for renovation. This assignment represented the second phase of TruePoint's engagement in the hospital’s ongoing development. The objective was to capture the existing conditions of all structural, architectural, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) features to facilitate the planning and design of the renovation. The floor included tightly packed pipes and structural elements, presenting a challenge for manual measurement.
