    Project Details

The forest mapping initiative aimed to assist Forestry and Land Scotland, the governmental body overseeing national forests and land in Scotland, by providing data for the development of a management strategy to address the threat of Phytophthora ramorum, a disease that rapidly kills larch trees. Using the Routescene UAV LiDAR and Vehicle LiDAR system, comprehensive maps of the forest area surrounding Drummond Hill near Kenmore, Perthshire, Scotland, were generated. This advanced LiDAR technology captures highly detailed point clouds, offering a thorough three-dimensional representation of the terrain beneath the forest canopy.
