The Mexican Archaeological Mission of TT39 embarked on a project in Luxor, Egypt, in 2005 to investigate, excavate, and restore the pharaonic tomb of Puimra, dating back to 1500 B.C. Leveraging the Leica BLK360 imaging laser scanner and Cyclone 3D point cloud processing software, the team conducted precise surveys of underground chambers, exterior surroundings, and wall carvings. This digital documentation not only preserved the site for future generations but also provided insights into the reign of Queen Hatshepsut, shedding light on Egypt's history. Key goals include conducting a comprehensive survey of the tomb, analyzing and diagnosing damages, designing a conservation plan, and executing restoration work in phases.
