    Project Details

The project analyzed and predicted soil organic carbon (SOC) levels in Ukraine’s agricultural lands from 2015 to 2020, with projections for the next 20 years. Using EOSDA LandViewer and a modified RothC model, the team integrated satellite imagery, topography, climate data, and vegetation indices to map SOC trends and forecast future scenarios. Results identified areas with high carbon sequestration potential, supporting sustainable land management strategies to enhance climate resilience.
